Public School Vacation Shortened

Due to Hurricane Sandy and the "loss of instructional school days," public schools will have a shortened Presidents' Week vacation this year. Students will be off on Monday and Tuesday, but are required to attend classes for the rest of that week. To see the letter from Chancellor Dennis M. Walcott of the NYC Department of Education, copy and paste this into your browser: http://schools.nyc.gov/Home/Calendar+Changes.htm
